Good morning everyone. We have to break some really unfortunate news this morning. We are being evicted from our current building.

We really aren’t sure the exact reason that our landlord is doing this, at first it was a “we don’t want any more animals in our building.” Now it seems like it’s more than that as we have found out that three other small businesses in the building have also been or are being evicted.

No matter what the reasoning is it is happening and very quickly. As far as we know we have to be out by July 24th.

We are currently in the process of trying to find a new building and figure out our game plan. We know that everyone is going to want to help and until we know exactly how and where we need help the biggest thing we ask from you all is to have patience with us and to work with us.

Some big changes that we are going to have to make is we are no longer taking in rescues at this time. We won’t be able to do any new boarding and we will be reaching out to those who are already scheduled to cancel boarding.

We will be planning a huge sale these upcoming weeks to try to get rid of as much product and animals as we can so stay tuned for that. We will also still be attending the Show Me Reptile Show in two weeks. As of now we are still going to be operating normal business hours but as things progress and change we will keep you all posted.

We have reluctantly decided to start a go fund me. With us being a new business of only a year and a half a move and change like this could really be the end for Reptile Alley. So that being said we will take as much financial help as we can get to help make the moving process easier. If you feel led to or want to please help us keep our store open by making a donation. All donations will be put toward the expenses of moving/being closed/ and the care of the animals during this season. No matter how big or small your donation is it will make a huge difference for us and the animals.
