Hi my name is Melvyn. I am a sickle cell warrior. This is something that has affected my life from birth and often is a barrier to the things I do in life, for example I never taken my son to swimming as temperature changes could cause an attack.

What is an attack. It is a pain that cripples and can effect anywhere in the body that blood flows through.

This condition can cause complications in the body and can be fatal. Again I am a sickle warrior the same as my younger brother, our cousin has watched us grow with this condition and our friend has a brother who has the same condition as us, between us we came up with the idea of doing 5000 reps for sickle cell warriors.

We are aiming to raise funds so that we can supply our local sickle cell clinic with thermal wear that can be given out to patients especially through the winter period.

Having this condition is a challenge and this is the reason why I am raising funds so that we can help towards sickle warriors having less visits to the hospital.
