Hi everyone, I’m Ben

I, among 342 others have been honoured with the opportunity to represent the UK at the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in Atlanta, 3rd–6th September 2026. An event that pays tribute to the 343 firefighters who gave their lives on September 11th, 2001.

During the climb, I’ll be taking on 110 floors. The height of the Twin Towers. Wearing full firefighter gear to symbolise the courage and sacrifice shown that day.

Each participant climbs in memory of one of the fallen. I’ll be carrying the photo of a firefighter who lost their life on that harrowing day, taking every step in their honour.

This incredible event brings together 343 firefighters from Great Britain, joining the US emergency services and supporters from around the world, united in remembrance, respect, and solidarity.

For me, this is a deeply personal opportunity to stand shoulder to shoulder with others in our profession, to honour those who fell, and to represent our service and country with pride.

I’m raising funds to help cover travel, accommodation, and entry costs needed to make this journey possible.

Any support, no matter how small, will help me take part in this meaningful memorial event.

Any additional funds raised will be donated to the firefighters charity, supporting those who continue to risk their lives every day on the front line.
