Hello friends and family,

My name is Amelie del Rosario, and I am an individual Kata athlete on the Karate Canada Jr Team.

As many of you may know, karate has been a big part of my life. I have been training in karate for the last 15 years and it would be a dream of mine to continue to train and compete while representing Karate Canada.

Two weeks ago I competed at the Karate Canada National Championships held in Montreal. After lots of hard training and preparation, I finished 1st in my U21 Female Kata Division. Which has earned me a spot on the Jr National Team to represent Team Canada at the Jr Pan American Championships held next month in Chile.

Unfortunately, karate isn't a sport that is funded. I am reaching out to ask for your help in funding my trip to the Jr Pan American Championships. The funds raised will help cover the cost of travel, accommodation, and equipment. I am hoping to raise $3000 to help cover these costs.
