Representing Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games 2024

Hello, my name is Lara Storey. I am the number 1 female powerlifter in Northern Ireland and have been selected to represent my country at the Commonwealth Games in Sun City South Africa in October.

This is a tremendous honour and a dream come true. Having started powerlifting only 11 months ago it has been a whirlwind journey and something I could never have expected this early in my powerlifting journey. I am extremely passionate about the sport and hope to encourage others to follow their dreams and aspirations.

Sadly, as it is an amateur sport, it is not funded. Any money raised will be used for flights, accomodation etc. Any help, regardless of how small, would be greatly appreciated.
