*Representing GB at the Inaugural World Para Ice Hockey Championships*

I'm Helen, a proud member of the Great Britain Para Ice Hockey team, and I'm thrilled to have been selected to compete in the first-ever World Para Ice Hockey Championships in Slovakia this August! This is really exciting and I'm eager to take to the ice with my team.

*The Fast-Paced World of Para Ice Hockey*

Para ice hockey is an exhilarating team sport that requires skill, strength, and strategy. We play using specially designed double blade sledges and two sticks with a pick at one end for propulsion and a blade at the other for shooting. It's a sport that demands dedication, teamwork, and a passion for the game.

For the last 3 years we have been trying to inspire and attract more women to the sport and our goal is to get the Women’s Para Ice Hockey to the Winter Paralympics.

As a self-funded athlete, I'm facing significant costs to make this championship a reality. I'm reaching out for support to help cover expenses such as:
