Represent Canada at FISU Games 2025!!

Hello everyone! :)
My name is Favour, and I’m a proud sprinter (and middle-distance) athlete at Western University from Bradford, Ontario. This year, I was honoured to be named both the U SPORTS Track Athlete of the Year and the OUA All-Sports Athlete of the Year, recognitions that mean the world to me and keep me striving for more.
I’m so happy to share that I’ve been selected to represent Team Canada at the FISU World University Championships, an international competition that brings together the best student-athletes from around the globe. This will be my first international competition, and I’m extremely excited to (officially) wear red and white for the first time. It’s a big step toward my ultimate goal: becoming an Olympian.
Unfortunately, this year, athletes are required to self-fund to participate in this event and the cost for me to attend would be $5,500.
All indoor season, I worked so hard in every practice with the dream of making this team. Now that I’ve been selected, I’m more focused than ever to compete at my best on the world stage.
This opportunity means everything to me, not just as an athlete, but as someone who believes in chasing big dreams despite the challenges. I’m reaching out with the hope that you might consider supporting me on this final leg of the journey. Every contribution — big or small — brings me one step closer to the starting line, proudly wearing Canada’s colours.
The last time I wore red and white was in high school, when representing my school (Bishop Allen) felt like the biggest honour in the world. Now, the chance to wear those colours on an international stage for Team Canada is a dream coming full circle, and just the beginning of where I hope to go.
Thank you for being part of my journey and for reading this, it means so much!! <3
