My name is Reiss Baxter, a proud Canadian citizen and passionate Muay Thai fighter. From my roots in Glasgow, Scotland, to the gyms of Calgary, my journey has been all about hard work, determination, and chasing dreams.

I moved to Canada at 12 years old. It wasn't easy. Leaving behind family/friends and everything I've ever known. It was certainly a massive change in my life at a young age, but it was for the best. It taught resiliency and patience, turned risks into courage, and did things out of my comfort zone. The risks gave me self-growth, confidence, developed a trust in myself. This has molded me to be strong, self–reliant and shape my character, who I am, and my vision in so many aspects of my young life.

These life lessons have been powerful and profound in chasing my dreams on my Muay Thai journey.

To have the honor of being selected to represent Canada at the 2025 WCB Muay Thai World Games in Verona, Italy, it is an opportunity to show what dedication, hard work and passion can achieve, and to inspire other's to chase their own dreams.

I dedicate my life to Muay Thai, and the dream is One Championship. This step represents my personal growth within the sport of Muay Thai.

I'm raising funds for this once in a lifetime opportunity. The funds will help with travel costs, accommodation, tournament registration, meals, missed wages from time off work, and training costs.

Representing Canada, I will make Canada proud of what I achieve.
