Represent CAN in Thailand for world Championships

Hello, my name is Liberty and I have been training for the past 8 months in the sport of dragon boating. I have been chosen to represent Canada in Thailand for the World Championships for the U18 team. I have passed all the physical testing and have been chosen to join Team Canada along with 3 other youths from Lethbridge who I have been training alongside. This has been a dream for a year- since I knew this was something I could do. I have been dragon boating for about 6 years with the Dragon Boat Association of Southern Alberta, who taught me all my values for dragon boating and gave me all the knowledge I need to move forward. I come from a small city in southern Alberta and it will take a lot to compete on a national team without some help.

We would use the money for; Official team Canada shirts, Podium Shirts, Official race pants, Official race shorts, Offical race hats, plane tickets, hotel, food, bottled water, an unexpected illness,

I will be leaving July 30th to August 14th and the World Dragon boat championships will be from August 7th to the 13th.

If we exceed our goal we will donate the rest of the funds to the Dragon Boat Association of Southern Alberta youth program.
