This weekend Stoke Hill Junior School site was broken into and some gardening equipment stolen. Other items were spread around the site.

This incident has been really upsetting for the school and particularly the maintenance team who work so hard on a shoestring to keep the grounds safe for the children. They give up their own time and work tirelessly to keep the grounds so beautiful.

At a time when our schools are struggling for funding, this hits us all hard. It feels very frustrating as much of the equipment had been funded through charitable fundraising.

The incident has been logged with the police and we have asked the local community for any donations of tools.

In the meantime we have set up this Go Fund Me to help raise some funds to start the process of replacing the items taken. All funds raised will go directly to the maintenance team to buy new equipment.
