Jack's Replacement

Jack, Hyundai Elantra 2000
October 12, 2014 - January 6, 2021

Jack was parked in his usual spot out front when someone tried to steal a subaru forester and rammed straight into his front end causing thousands of dollars worth of damage!  He only had 55,811 miles but he's a 2000...
State Farm totaled him.

Jack was my reward for the St. Elizabeth's project- the mechanic working on the assessment talked about the low mileage and how clean his parts were- I expected to be driving him for years and years yet!

All I want for my birthday is another Jack- something safe, reliable, low mileage and big enough to carry my work and supplies.

I don't have a big public art project going on now and opportunities for artists in these times are few and mostly online so I'm turning to the public at large and offering an opportunity to help me buy another car in exchange for original art.

My car budget is $5,000, including the $1,000 settlement from State Farm- any funds in excess will increase the budget by that much.

All contributions are greatly appreciated!
