Hi, my name is Adrian, and I am fundraising for my co-worker Esther Elizondo. Esther is a hard-working community advocate, single mother, and respected co-worker.

In September 2022, a driver ran a red light and blind-sided Esther, totaling her car and leaving her without a vehicle. While waiting for the insurance companies to come to a settlement, she and her two younger daughters rode the bus to and from work and school, never complaining, just handling business as usual.

During the holiday break, the insurance company finally settled on an amount for her car, and she was finally able to find a used car that met her needs for a price she could afford.

On January 3rd, we all returned to the office and were excited and motivated to continue serving our community as a team. As usual, she worked diligently all day to ensure our client's needs were met. Upon leaving the office, she quickly returned and was shocked because her car had been stolen from our organization's parking lot.

We reviewed all cameras and quickly filed a report on the theft, and it is highly unlikely that she will ever see that vehicle again.

That said, I am asking from the bottom of my heart that we step up as a community and help Esther raise the money she needs to buy her family another vehicle.
