Replacement of totaled vehicle

Update: Elena wants to thank everyone who has donated so far. She has found an 2014 Odyssey Touring Elite that she is hoping to get. So far she is still without a vehicle.
We have lowered the needed amount to fit what the new goal is to cover what is left. We are getting closer to making it happen for her family to have transportation again. Let’s keep sharing and donate what you can. Thank you so much. 

Hi. My name is Susanne. I’m fundraising for my sister Elena and her family. She recently was in a car accident that totaled her van. Unfortunately her car insurance had expired, and they terminated it before she received notice of it being past due. She has tried to amend the issue to no avail and has been denied coverage for the accident. This has now left her, a single mother of 4 special needs children, with no vehicle to get her kids to and from appointments and other obligations. It’s already a struggle for her to provide for their needs and pay bills and currently has no way to replace her vehicle. A used replacement has been priced out and used as the goal amount. Please help me help her get another vehicle as it is one of their basic needs, but it’s a big ticket. Any amount you can do would help, and please also share.
