Zenat Begum of Playground Coffee Shop, a  crucial community space, coffee shop, & home of nonprofit Playground Youth in Bedstuy, had her car stolen outside of her business at 6 AM 10/7/20. The car was reported last in Jersey going over the George Washington Bridge headed to a scrap yard. Insurance does not cover the replacement of her vehicle or damages. I've created this fundraiser to get Zenat's stolen car replaced as it is extremely crucial to maintaining Playground's many programs & initiatives spearheaded in COVID to support those in need. The lack of access to a car greatly limits Zenat & Playground's contact with  &  ability to support community.

This fundraiser is created by Natalia Mantini, a close friend of Zenat & the Playground team. Zenat is raising money for  Playgrounds's extensive programming and with her permission I have created this separately to get her mobile again so she and the staff can move forward with the critical work they execute for community daily.
