Well, Piper and I had an eventful day yesterday. We were driving on I-90 to go hiking when the Subaru in front of us started to really smoke from it’s tailpipe. As the driver pulled over, I noticed there were also flames coming from the undercarriage. We pulled over and within 2 minutes, the flames were also coming from under the hood. The driver and his dog were trying to get their stuff out of the car, and the pup kept jumping in and out of the backseat. I got out of my car and yelled at the guy to get out of there and took him and his dog to my car. Within 2 minutes the car exploded and the hood flew about 20 feet through the air. We called 911 and they put the fire out but the car is totally gone. I gave the guy and his dog a ride back to Seattle and we hung out with a margarita while his wife drove up from Olympia to pick him up. Everyone is ok, but this family has suffered some serious financial hardships due to COVID, and they have 2 kids under 5 with another on the way. With everything happening in this country right now, I believe a little extra kindness goes a long way. Please help me to raise money for the Green family!
