Replace The Prescriptions stolen gear and van!
Donation protected
Hey everybody.
As you might have heard, we had our van and a bunch of gear stolen in New Orleans (somehow still the greatest city in the country) recently on our way to SXSW. Luckily, we were able to play that string of shows thanks to the generosity and help from Rock Eupora and the Band of Heathens folks, among others.
We’ve had a huge outreach of support since then, whether that’s buying records or t-shirts or words of encouragement…there’s already been so much solidarity and support from the musician community and beyond. Thank you so much for all of that, it really means a tremendous amount.
We’re trying to keep this show on the road, and we went back and forth on doing a GoFundMe for a while, but we landed at a point where we need y’all's help. We wanted to take some time to give the police a chance to find the van, but we're a month out and that has so far been unsuccessful. This goal covers the cost of the gear stolen, and will help get us back to normal.
Thanks so much for taking the time to check this out. Here’s the list of things missing in case you come across them:
1967 Gretsch round badge sunburst drum set (3 pc. with 22 inch kick drum)
Q Drum Co. "Aluminum" 5x14 snare drum
DW5000 stands/equipment
Padded drum throne
Cases for all drums/equipment
1976 Fender Precision Bass Guitar - sunburst (“tobacco burst”) - serial number starts with 7641 — rest is difficult to read due to wear)
Ampeg SVT Classic Bass Amp (black)
Sunn 2x15 Speaker Cabinet (black with grey cloth on front)
JHS Twin Twelve pedal
Catalinbread SFT pedal
Caroline Kilobyte pedal
Flashback delay/loop pedal
Boss CH1 Chorus pedal
Strymon Ojai power supply
The van was a Ford E350 Econoline with nearly 400,000 miles on it.
