Replace Taken Equipment

Hello my name is Bob & I own The Olive Branch Greek food truck in Rockford, IL.

The crew & I did a deep clean on the truck at my home over the weekend before taking the truck in to have some work done at the mechanic.

During the cleaning I was aware that some brackets & other repairs needed to be fixed for the oven and the deep fryer. Unable to finish before taking the truck to mechanic I wrapped equipment & tools used at the time in order to take the truck in with a tarp. My intention at the time was to come home & do the repairs so they would be ready when the truck got out of the shop.

I took the truck in and was gone for a few hours to get what I needed to make repairs.

When I came back, I could not believe it someone took everything including all my pots and pans, grates to oven & the oven door, all my tools, my power washer, my deep fryer, part of my gyro machine and other little parts that are used on the truck.

Some things were left it appears that they got startled in the process. The oven was too heavy to take, but all accessories were taken. I called the police, check in with all the neighbors. Within 24 of all of this I put all scrap yards on alert with nothing accomplished or no results.

This is absolutely devastating as we are already investing all time, energies & monies to expand into the kitchen at Carlson Ice Arena to expand our seasonal business into another stream because well being small is challenging.

It's difficult to ask for assistance, but right now see no other way. The police haven't even come to file a report. We are not even aware of what insurance will cover and well that doesn't feed my family now. This business is definitely an important part of our income and if we can't work then it affects my family & the families of my crew
