Help us replace our stolen flyball equipment
Between the hours of 2am and 10am on Sunday 15th December our white Ford Transit van was stolen from Norman Rise Dedridge Livingston.
The van contains flyball equipment which is necessary for us to host events and train our dogs. The Flying Scots Flyball Team are currently the only UK Flyball League Team in Scotland who host indoor events. In order to do so we need our tuff
spun matting and Electronic Timing
System. In the stolen van is 10 rolls of
Tuff Spun matting at a replacement cost of £400 per roll and the ETS at a cost of
approx. £4,000, the van was also
modified to
include dog crate, bedding, leads, bowls,
fans and heating for the dogs.
We would love to raise enough fund to
replace the matting and lights, these are not covered by our club insurance and
they were packed into the van to take to training the night before.
Also
Two Scottish Teams have been invited to compete at Crufts 2020. Two of The Flying Scots team dogs have been asked to join Killie Flyers and Perthshire Streamlinerz at this prestigious event and the plan was to train and practice together at the next few flyball events in Errol Airfield where the events are hosted. The loss of this matting will have a huge impact on Scottish Flyball as a whole and reduce our opportunities to be as competetive at Crufts 2020.
Any amount no matter how small is
greatly appreciated.
Kindest Regards Lynn Bradley
The Flying Scots Flyball Team Captain
