Hi everyone,

It pains me so much to be creating this go fund me but we are out of options. Pictured above is my amazing daughter Shaelyn. She just finished her second year at UBC in Vancouver and works two jobs to help fund her education.

Not only is she a figure skater but also a coach and loves her job and the kids she coaches. While teaching an off ice class last week her skate bag was stolen from the rink and to say she is devastated is an under statement. To make matters worse these are new skates which she bought herself a few months ago. We have exhausted all options to track them down but haven’t found them.

Not only does she need skates to make money to continue school, she needs them to skate for herself which is not only her passion but her stress relief.

As a Mom I wish I could swoop in and fix this for her but I am just not able to right now. (Insert Mom guilt here). I will start a second job in the evenings to help but we need to get her back on the ice ASAP.
