Hello all! My name is Sara C and I'm fortunate to call myself a midwife-and stand with families in the threshold of life and death. I'm rallying community help to assist in replacing my midwifery equipment and bags. This past week I was called to a birth, and upon arriving at my client's home, I opened my car's trunk to find that someone had gone through it the night before (unfortunately insurance will not cover this), and took the bulk of my medical supplies. Thousands of dollars in equipment meant to help mother's and infants....gone. This comes at a difficult time as we've just moved into a new home and had additional expenses. I support my four children and husband with my calling as a midwife, and just want to be able to replace what was stolen.
