BIRTHDAY FUND: Replace Reuben's mountain bike!!!

Hi Friends and Family!

Reuben, a longtime mountain biking enthusiast, recently faced a heartbreaking setback when his cherished bike was stolen from a secured underground parking garage while we were living together in Los Angeles. Despite our best efforts and the presence of video evidence, the chances of recovering the bike are slim due to the high volume of bike thefts in the area.

Mountain biking is not just a hobby for Reuben. It's how he connects with nature, his community, and his beloved wolf-dog, Atlas. Biking has been a source of joy, fitness, and adventure for him for years. It's a passion he has generously shared with many.

As we plan our move to Boulder, Colorado—a haven for mountain biking enthusiasts—I'd love for Reuben to be able to ride the trails, explore the mountains, and continue to share his love for this sport. Without a bike, this will not be possible.

We aim to raise $4,500 USD (~$6,200 CAD) to replace Reuben's stolen bike with one of a similar or the same caliber. Every penny raised will go directly towards purchasing a new mountain bike.

Reuben has always been the first to lend a hand, share his gear, or open his home to friends and the community. Now, we have an opportunity to give back to someone who has enriched our lives in so many ways.

We will keep all donors updated on our progress towards the goal. Once the campaign is successful, we look forward to sharing photos and videos of Reuben on his new bike as a testament to the power of community kindness. I will also do my best to capture his reaction!
