Hey there, we are Pretoria, an indie rock band based in Chicago, IL by way of Grand Rapids, MI.

Last week, while returning from tour, our van (Gerard) broke down beyond repair on the side of the highway. We have 2 more major US tours in 2026, the first of which starts in June (amid working on our upcoming releases), and we can’t do that without transportation. Meeting and entertaining audiences live is one of the biggest reasons we do what we do. It's not only incredibly fun, but helps us reach new people and support our business financially.

We talked about it as a band, and after much debate on comfortability of asking for financial help, we decided to pull the trigger and start a GoFundMe. We must try to afford a safe passenger van for the band members and crew, and 100% of donations will go towards a used 2016 Ford Transit 150. We realize these are trying times for many and that there are many great causes to donate to, so we all thank you very much for your support whether you are able to give or not.
