Hi.

I'm making this gofundme thing as I bought a new home for me and my kids on Saturday in the form of very lovely caravan.. It was a joyous day..

However, It was stolen by the people I bought it from less than 24 hrs later..

Apparently (I have since learnt) that this type of scam is a 'thing'... ?

Huh. I shall file that in the overflowing box marked 'shitty things I have recently learned about the world '

Lol.

Anyway it's left us right in the shit and so I'm swallowing my pride and (at the suggestion of a friend) reaching out to my FB community for help..

This feels uncomfortable af.

I am aware that there are people in the world being bombed and starved on live TV right now, and that having your caravan stolen by scumbags is clearly and indeed a first world problem..

With this in mind it feels right to me to donate 50% of any donations received here to these people, we all know who they are but who cannot be named on this platform ..

I could really do with getting back some of the money to put towards another one. As it seems unlikely I my caravan will be returning.

The world is full of liars, cheats, genocidal psychopaths and petty criminals alike.

But it is also full of decent folk with decent hearts..

And whether you can donate or not I appreciate all your messages of support and righteous outrage on our behalf.
