We are Croissant d'Or a small French bakery that has been operating in Leeds for over 22 years. Earlier this year we faced an enormous challenge with serious damage to one of our most important pieces of kit, an industrial rack oven. Attempts at repairs and services have only temporarily fixed the oven and it is on its last legs. Due to this, we are looking to purchase a new oven that can meet our needs.

Anything you could give at this time would be greatly appreciated. All funds will be going towards a new oven so we can continue to provide for the community at the same standard we always have.

The local council has been generous enough to offer us a grant, on environmental grounds, which will cover a good chunk of the cost. Our old oven unit is not energy efficient and due to its state of disrepair we have to leave it on for longer and bake in smaller batches. A new oven would help reduce our wasted electricity and make sure we are a greener business.

We appreciate that our goal is not small, which is why if you can’t support financially, then please share our story and get the word out there. To anyone generous enough to donate to this cause we are offering something in return for you.
