Hi, my name is Gabi.
I’m raising funds to replace my car after it was totaled while parked on the street. I was not present when the accident occurred. I arrived afterward, while police were finishing up at the scene, and I did not see the other driver or vehicle involved.

Police later confirmed that the driver who struck my car did not have a valid license or insurance. Because no one was inside my vehicle at the time of the accident, my insurance will not cover the loss, despite my coverage.

This car was my only reliable transportation. I depended on it to get to work, support my family, and attend regular medical and therapy appointments. As an autistic adult, consistent transportation is essential for my ability to function day to day and maintain stability.

I have explored all available options. While I do have some savings, they are not enough to replace a vehicle outright without creating serious financial strain or risking my ability to maintain work and care responsibilities.

I am asking for help to cover the cost of a modest, reliable used car and the immediate transportation gap this loss has created.
