Replace Luke's broken dead junkyard PC

Heyo folks,

So as a string of personal nightmares continue and the universe's unflinching continuously waged war on my efforts to be a human being endures for another century of blood and flint, my main desktop PC has finally bitten the dust.

It was a long time coming; a buddy of mine threw the thing together in 2014 with a case from his dad's office and parts he found in discount internet backwaters, before being spruced up by another friend in 2019 and handing her off to her forever home under my desk, intended as a brief interim-computer while I worked toward replacing my dying laptop at the time. Then 2020 happened.

Her original creator has since told me that it's "a miracle it even turns on", so I suppose I should count my blessings that it's lasted as long as it has.

Now here we are at the end of her life, and potentially the end of mine as well if I can't scrounge up some extra dosh to save the farm here. I'm reliant on my PC for all aspects of video production aside from editing, all my assets are created with PC-exclusive software.

Not to mention the gigabytes of personal files now being held for ransom by the tech support gods.

Our goal would cover the cost of a new machine, as well as file recovery in the corpse of the previous one.

If you'd be so kind as to assist in my not sinking into the ocean here, I'd be eternally indebted.
