Replace damaged items

Hi my name is Sam,

I’m a single parent of two young children 9 and 7.

After living 15 miles away at my dads house (relationship breakdown ) I’m due to move back into my flat on Monday, but yesterday all the belongings I’d set aside for the move were destroyed by a sewage drain issue.

I’ve lost a double bed frame, two kids’ beds, bed side tables, a vacuum cleaner, kettle, toaster, office equipment and other basic household essentials. I’m gutted, to be honest—it’s been a tough setback.

My insurance won’t pay as I don’t technically own the basement!

any funds raised means I can look to replace some of those damaged items
