Supporting Brother Bam
Donation protected
Since Bam moved up to Portland in 2015, he's demonstrated a courageous and unparalleled capacity to give. Through EMS, he saved lives working minimum wage. Through donating his own marrow, he saved another. Through his pursuit of Primal Movement, he gave us the ability to shift into a new way of relating to our own movement, inner strength and healing. Through alignment with his heart, he shined his light on all of us.
On this next chapter of his journey, he departs to join the United States Air Force to train as a Pararescue Medic, knowing in his heart his next stage is growing in his capacity to help heal some of the deepest shadows and use that to better himself and deepen his strength and resilience.
Last weekend, amidst a difficult time, his Motorcycle was stolen from our front porch. If you know Bam, you know this motorcycle resembled more than transport. It was the freedom to fly down the streets. During rough times, it was his cornerstone of joy. His bike was definitely one of his companions.
Several days ago, it was stolen from our front porch. To understand the gravity of this situation, please know that this hasn't been an easy transition in general. So to have this happen was an undeserved and devastating blow to his spirit.
Now we have the opportunity as a community to stand up and show support for someone who deserves it more than many. Despite how you may feel about the military, he is stepping forward in courage to better himself and help those around him as a medic, and wants to take those skills and apply them into the world in the future.
We have an opportunity to give him back his companion before he departs in November and take that with him in the next stage of his path. We have spoken to the police and followed leads, and are acutely aware that the chances of finding the motorcycle are incredibly low. If he does, we'll simply refund based on request no questions asked.
We will raise enough money as a community to give Brother Bam back the love and support he's showed our community in the form of a new motorcycle. We have the opportunity to show him that as he departs into this next stage of his path, he's not doing it alone.
***We're trying to keep this on the down-low so we don't set any high expectations, so please help us make this a beautiful surprise for him.
~Thank you for your consideration and support and much love~
