Replace Allissa’s Vest Machine

My name is Mary and on 7/12/19 my children’s father’s house in Apple Valley, Ca was broken into. Many valuable items were stolen, the most valuable item we owned was among them. My daughter Allissa’s Respritech InCourage Airway Clearance Vest was taken. 

Allissa is 14 and has Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a terminal, progressive, genetic disease that causes a buildup of thick, sticky mucus in the body, especially in the lungs. This machine was used multiple times daily to shake the mucus loose so that Allissa could breathe. This machine added quantity and quality to her life. Losing it is an immeasurable loss and will likely lead to multiple hospitalizations and loss of lung function. 

To replace this machine with a new one, we would need $10,000; a refurbished machine will cost $5,000. As insurance just replaced this machine (literally less than a month ago), they will not pay for a new one. We are asking your help to raise the funds to replace her Vest machine. Cystic Fibrosis takes so much and these thieves took so much more than they could’ve ever understood. Please help us to help our daughter breathe.
