Replace a sick family’s work vehicle

Meet the Chumleys: a witness family of two (single mom and her daughter).* Each copes with their own severe chronic illness, while also caring for another sick family member.

Despite this, they push through their pains and work for a small cleaning business to cover bills and medical expenses, while keeping up a spiritual routine and extending love to others.

Unfortunately, their work van (in which they transport all their cleaning gear) has been breaking down over the years, and it is finally on its last legs.

The Chumleys need to purchase a decent used vehicle to replace it, which will cost at least $5-6000 CA. They have been saving, selling items to scrounge up cash, etc, but so far have only been able to gather half the amount they would need.

Since timing is of the essence, I started this GoFundMe page.

I know the economy has been hard on everyone. But I also know that all of you in our wonderful brotherhood are always eager to help when you hear of a need.

Prov 19:17 has always proved true for me. Any favor shown to the lowly is like lending to Jehovah, and He will repay in kind. When we give of ourselves, Jehovah always finds a way to supplement the loss. Never ceases to amaze me!

Whatever donation you can muster, however small, will go a long way to making it possible for this dear family to keep working.
