Repatriation, Funeral and Memorial Expenses

Shane Lawrence Berekoff - 25th August 1979 – 18th April 2022

Shane was a professional in his chosen field of welding, inspection and associated interests. While recently, expertly and professionally, practicing his trades as an Irata Rope Access working abroad and across Australia in times of late.

Survived by his loving parents Dulaine James and Larry Berekoff, siblings Brent and Brad Berekoff and his forever adoring partner Nadia Duran, his last breath was taken on Easter Monday 2022 at the Brisbane Princess Alexandra Hospital with his loved ones by his side at the time of passing.

Shane’s family have begun the process of repatriation back to Canada, which was always close to his heart, with those he loved, grew up around and loved him. A full service and memorial will be undertaken before being laid in his final resting place in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, a place where he always wanted to be.

A mass of remembrance will be on Saturday 23rd April at 11:00 am in Sydney, NSW
