On 17/10/2025, our world was rocked by an unimaginable tragedy. Baljit Singh, a kind, hardworking, and jolly person, was involved in a devastating accident at Mitcham Eastfields Station. While commuting from work, he tragically fell onto the tracks. Despite being rushed to the hospital, kept on support for about 3 weeks and then undergone a surgery, Baljit was pronounced dead a few days later, 21/11/2025. His sudden and unexpected passing has left his family in deep sorrow, and they are now facing both the emotional and financial burden of this loss.
Baljit came to the UK on a work visa to build a better life for his family in India. He was the sole breadwinner, providing for his loving wife and two young children. His dedication to his family was unmatched, and he worked tirelessly to ensure they had everything they needed. Baljit was not just a provider, but a true pillar of support for everyone who knew him.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Baljit would describe him as a genuinely kind and jolly person, always with a smile on his face and a willingness to go out of his way to help others. Whether it was lending a hand at work, sharing a laugh, or offering support to anyone in need, he brought joy and warmth to everyone around him. His generosity, warmth, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The Funds Will Help With:
• Covering funeral expenses in the UK, as well as the repatriation of his body back to India.
• Providing financial support to his wife and children (aged 16 years old daughter and 12 years old son), who are now without their main source of income.
• Assisting with the ongoing education and living expenses of his children, who have lost not just a father, but their protector and provider.
We are reaching out to you during this incredibly difficult time to ask for your support. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping Baljit’s family through this heartbreaking period. Your kindness will go a long way in easing their burden and allowing them to honor the memory of a man who was always there for others.
Please keep Baljit's family in your thoughts and prayers, and share this page with your friends and family. Your support is deeply appreciated.
