Hi all,
Many people have advised us to not be ashamed to reach out to the community and receive help for our experience. We were very hesitant to start this but this GFM is strictly for reparations for the public humiliation and dehumanization we endured during our encounter with the police. These times have been mentally hard and draining for us all and this experience is added stress and fear, simply for the colour of our skin.
We’re asking for allies to donate, we love the solidarity of our community, but black women especially have been supportive enough. This is reparations from our allies, we wanna redistribute this money into bettering our mental health, legal fees and the rest will go towards continuing our mission to fight systemic racism through future projects with our [email redacted] .
