This is my mom, Mary Jane. She raised three children, as a single mother in Los Angeles, CA, working 7 days a week, on $8/hr pay. She overcame enormous struggles growing up in the Philippines, & came to America trying to make it, with English as her second language. At first judgement, people treated her different, because she was an immigrant. But above all, she is now the owner of a small, Filipino Restaurant. 

Last night, we got the heartbreaking news that her restaurant in Panorama City was vandalized during the monumental protests, fighting for Black Lives. While merchandise can be replaced, Black Lives lost to police brutality are forever gone. We are alive & safe, while the victims of Institutional Racism are not. We fight for the lives of George Floyd & many more, in hopes of a safer future for our black children, family & friends. 

Business was already slow, almost failing, due to the Quarantine Order, following the Covid-19 Pandemic. Now with these new damages, we are drowning in financial expenses. Anything helps at this time & we appreciate your support. Thank you, all. #BlackLivesMatter #SupportSmallBusinesses
