Dear friends, family and kindhearted strangers,
My name is Henriette Ngo-Bissoy. For over 20 years, I’ve worked as a science teacher with Saint Paul Schools.
I pour my heart into my classroom, but right now, I'm facing a challenge that's left me feeling cold – literally.
Just recently, my furnace gave out completely. Imagine the shock of waking up to a freezing house—I scrambled to purchase five space heaters, just to keep a semblance of warmth. It's a temporary fix, a band-aid on a much bigger problem.
Then, the home inspector delivered another blow. My back windows, weathered and rotten, are failing. They're letting in drafts, contributing to the biting cold, and posing a security risk. To fix both the furnace and the windows, I'm looking at an estimated $25,000 – a sum that feels insurmountable on a teacher's salary.
My home is my sanctuary, a place where I recharge after long days of inspiring young minds, but right now, it's a battle against the cold.
I know times are tough for many, and asking for help isn't easy. But I'm reaching out to you with a humble heart, hoping that you can find it in your heart to lend a hand.
Every dollar, every share, brings me closer to restoring warmth and safety to my home.
Here's how you can help:
* Donate: Any amount, big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
* Share: Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks. Your reach can amplify my voice and bring more support.
* Send a message of encouragement: Your kind words and support mean just as much as financial contributions.
I believe in the power of community, and I'm hopeful that together, we can overcome this challenge. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generosity.
With gratitude,
Mme. Bissoy
