My sister and her family are in crisis. They are newly excepting parents with a 5 year old who are currently seeking shelter at my grandparents due to the Texas winter storm. I’ve had multiple people reach out asking how they can help, and I think the best way is collecting money/gift cards that they can use to get the things they will need like towels, linens, rugs,  and repairs.




Since Texas is still in a state of emergency, their house will just have to sit in it’s current condition until it’s safe to move forward and they can get a plumber and restoration company.

My sister and her family were one of the millions without power for days during Texas’s winter storm. It became so cold that they packed up and headed to my grandparents house who was also with out power, but a bit warmer. They had to leave the cats behind because of my grandmother’s dogs, and when they went home to care for their cats they opened the door and walked into a house with about 2 inches of water all throughout their main floor. They tried soaking up the water but without power that left all their linens, towels and bedding soaking wet in the bathtub.




A little bit can go a long way when replacing these items and helping with repairs. Thank you for your generosity, prayers, and supportive thoughts for them!
