This past April, my abusive ex broke one pane on the sliding glass door in our apartment. He has since moved out, but I am stuck with the repair bill. I was quoted around $800 for the door to be fixed. I haven’t had a job that would pay me enough money to save to pay for the new door since February. I doubt my landlord will let me stay another year so I’m trying to get this fixed before I have to leave so he can’t charge me a ridiculous amount.
