Repairing Mt Zion Primitive Baptist Church
Donation protected
We met Sunday (2/24/19) to discuss plans of what we want to do to help restore Mt. Zion Church. We had about 20 people there all of which have family buried in the cemetery and they want to be a part of what we envision for the future of Mt. Zion. On the list was termite treatment, doors, wheel chair ramp, addressing a leak on roof, rebuilding the stoop on front of church, shutters for windows, buying the chemicals to clean graves, getting a temporary power pole for us to have power to work on the church, as well as a new well pump down the road. Alot of things and as you all know it will take funds to make all this happen to protect it. If you can help us protect this 177 year old church we would greatly appreciate your help. Its a landmark in the Coolidge area in desperate need of help. We the members have taken on this venture to preserve it for future generations. We have alot of big plans including a clean up date of March 30th 2019 and our first service in a number of years on March 31st, 2019. Thank you.
