Recently, a tornado struck near our friend Jennifer’s home, causing considerable damage to her property. Thankfully, Jennifer, her family, and all of the cats, both inside her home and the feral cat colony she cares for, are safe.

Jennifer has dedicated herself to caring for a colony of feral cats in addition to providing a loving home for her own cats. One of the places her indoor cats enjoy most is their catio, a secure outdoor space where they can safely enjoy fresh air and sunshine. Unfortunately, the tornado severely damaged the catio, along with other parts of the property.

Jennifer is now facing the difficult task of repairing the damage. Unfortunately, some of the repairs and losses will not be covered by her homeowners insurance, leaving her family with significant unexpected expenses.
