Please help us repair our home from fire damage

Hi my name is Sabrina, my husband Pete and I have spent the past 3 and half years building a beautiful bungalow for us and our 5 children. For those of you who know us, you will know this has been no ordinary self build, we went 100% solo, no help we put everything into that home for our babies, both self employed, coming home up till midnight + most days so we could get moved in, our babies sacrificed all the normal treats, activities and lots of family time, and we promised them within the next 2 weeks this would all be a distant memory, normal life would return. My husband Pete is nothing short of a perfectionist, the standard of this house was unbelievable, we truly put our heart and souls into it, as well as our entire life savings.

Yesterday the unthinkable happened and at 9am a fire broke out, we have caravans that we have been living in on the land and I noticed smoke coming from the house, immediately I called the fire brigade but within 12 minutes it was in full force, I was helpless I couldn’t save it, panicked and could only think about getting my 2 younger children as far away as possible, after I got them to safety the house was just to far gone I couldn’t get near it for smoke to try and save it, when the fire brigade arrived it took them a good 4-5 hours to get the fire under control, our hole life’s are shattered, hearts completely broken, we are so grateful to say that everyone is safe, having said that in the cold light of day we have lost everything, not just the past 3 and half years that we have slogged out to move in, but financially we’ve lost everything we’ve ever worked for, insurance was currently being dealt with as we are in a flood area so it wasn’t as straight forward as we had hoped.

I really hate the idea of asking for help as we have single-handedly done this, from financial to child care, we haven’t asked anyone for anything, but we just can’t see how we can come back from this, as a family we are broken, so please if you just have a spare pound please help us come back from this for our babies, and if you understandably cant spare a pound please please help me get this spread to as many people as physically possible.
