Help us restore our seawatching hide
One tiny, but much loved building that unfortunately hasn’t survived the winter this year is the bird hide on Penrhyn Gogor, at the North end of Bardsey Island. A place where many visitors and staff sit to look at the sea to see Dolphins and seabirds and shelter from the elements.
The Bird Observatory staff and Bardsey Trust staff will begin restoration in the Spring.
However, we need to raise funds to repair the hide. Timber, sand, cement etc along with stainless, rust proof hinges and screws are all expensive, along with the transport of materials to the island.
We need your help to raise funds to repair our little hide.
