Big Bertha, my mobility scooter, is broken. She needs extensive repairs and I’ll need to rent a scooter in the meantime.
I cannot work (teach) without my scooter nor can I do the classes for my PhD. I can’t get groceries, my prescriptions, etc. I need a scooter but my bank account is currently overdrafted so I literally can’t rent one or repair mine right now.
I feel horrible asking for help, but I don’t know what else to do. Thank you so much for sharing and donating and being supportive. This is a really really rough time for me.
