Repair or replace Fíera's stolen car!
Donation protected
My name is Sasha, and I'm asking for your help! Please support my wonderful and generous friend Fíera. Fíera’s car was stolen recently, and she needs funds to get it out of impound and repair any damages if it isn’t totaled, or to replace it if it is.
Fíera, a trans woman of color, is an integral part of the Bay Area queer nightlife scene and heavily involved in trans-centric activism and care work. A prolific DJ who performs as De Alma (formerly known as Fiera Ferrari), she is also a visual artist and a community health worker. She depends on her vehicle to get to work and gigs, and regularly uses it to transport other queer and trans folks safely to and from work, medical appointments, parties and other community events, and so on.
Especially now when trans people are facing increasing legal sanctions, media scrutiny, and public scapegoating, it is crucial for us to have reliable transportation. In light of all this, we are calling on community to help Fíera in her time of need. A working vehicle will benefit not only Fíera but all the other queer and trans folks she is always willing to drive wherever they need to go.
Funds raised will be used to get Fíera's car out of impound and pay for necessary repairs, or put toward the purchase of a replacement vehicle if her current car is totaled. Any amount helps, so please give what you can, and share far and wide!
