Repair Kitchen Roof

During the year our VFW Post 1454 has worked with The Home Depot Veterans Foundation to assist us in funding and assisting in our kitchen roofing project. With spending numerous time of getting all the information that The Home Depot requested and meeting with the local Team we where informed 6 weeks after the submission this project was not a Non-Volunteer Friendly Project for them. The funds that we requested from them was for material only.
Our kitchen provides memorial lunches and dinners for memorial services from past veterans along with supporting the American Red Cross.
So moving forward Alma Post 1454 still needs to repair our kitchen roof so that we will meet the Health Department and Insurance requirements. What we would like to do is have the funds in place so that this completion will be done before winter of 2019.
