11-17-22 These angels take care of Buford at Cibolo Creek Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Ashley Salinas and her fantastic crew.

11/14/22 Buford, his 2nd visit to Cibolo Veterinary Clinic. He likes his pad with starts better and thing to make it easier. With that and treats it goes smoothly.

11/8/22 This is when he was a baby 2015, he was the best. Love my fur baby!

11/03/22 Buford, showing off his new rubber boot. It didn't start raining till I got the cast on. I wear it every time I go outside.

11/1/22 Had a rough few days. Bufords pain was bad the first three days, he has lost weight having a hard time with that. Loves his crate, thank goodness. Buford is a sun baby but it is too bright.

10/28/22 - Glad to be home, taking it easy today.

10/23/22- New picture, this is Buford's look when he wants to come sit with us. That is why the crate is so great it keeps him off his leg. He is the sweetest fur baby

Hi there! This is Jimmy and Lucy Jumper. We are asking for donations for Buford.

He is a full-blood Rhodesian Ridgeback that weighs in at 130 pounds. He is seven years old and very active. We have a green belt that he ran a mile almost every day.

The accident happened on 9/15/2022 at 8:30 am and was hit by a Bronco. The back tire hit Buford and the vehicle went completely over the top of him. His front left leg is the worst. It has a torn ligament at the ankle and his toenails were broken off. He lost his two side teeth a k9 and the one behind it. So that lifted the left side plate in his mouth. His body had multiple road rash and puncture marks that will take months to heal. The surgery for his ankle is so expensive and what he needs the most. All funds will be used for vet bills and items for his recovery. He will require after-surgery visits with new splints, sterile leg wraps as the leg heals.

The mother that was driving was late taking her child to school.

A neighbor was walking her two dogs, saw what happened, and came over and told me when we got back from the vet.

7. Update 10-17-22 we are going with Justin Animal Clinic, Dr Deanna Ingram. Once he has surgery, it will be four months of leg cast, wraps and rehab.

4. 10/11/2022 Just heard back from Texas A&M. They can not work on him till January 2023, but will keep looking.

3. 10/10/2022 River Oaks Veterinary called back Jody Uptergrove Vet. does not do this kind of work sent us to San Angelo Veterinary Dr. Henderson does not do this kind of work.

2. 10/5/2022 surgery doctor visit -Blue Pearl Veterinary - Stone Oak Dr. James T Giles. That is where we found out how much it will cost and they want it all upfront.

I am looking into other Veterinary clinics to see their payment plan and cost, but time is not on Bufords side

1. 9/15/2022 accident, 9/27/2022 follow up- Boerne Veterinary Clinic sent xrays to another Vet. he was on vacation and then sent to Blue Pearl
