Iv got some bad news but the main thing is EVERYONE IS SAFE AND WELL...

There was an incident last night... Someone , probably kids, set fire to the trees at the back fence of the rescue. The shed is intact , obviously burnt on the outside and roof. The fire brigade had it out in minutes. Im shaken and scared. I've had the police out who said it had probably been kids. The hogs are all fine which is the main thing, apart from one poor wild Hedgehog that was rescued from the rubble this morning. The rescue hedgehogs were checked last night and will be getting FULL health checks this morning. I was going down periodically through the night to make sure everyone was OK, so im exhausted. Its important everyone remembers, I run this rescue on my own pretty much 85% of the time. I have an amazing mum who does what she can when she can and an amazing wee team of volunteers who come in and help me clean out and feed the hogs but the rest is on me. I have to deal with stuff, sort it myself or at least ask for the help.

I feel really at risk here now which is why im trying desperately to get funding for a new place but again it all lies on me and now this has happened. I dont feel safe here , and with the flood risk every time it rains I am terrified.
