repairing Aviel’s broken acoustic bass

Hello, my name is Owen August. I’m a student enrolled at Florida State University earning my degree in Jazz Studies. This fundraiser is about one of my colleagues at FSU. Aviel Del Rosario is a shining star in the College of Music. Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of being in the presence of Aviel can advocate for his bright attitude, caring nature, and unbridled passion for music. Not to mention his incredible facility on the bass. When we learned of the damage caused to his instrument the entire college was devastated. While Aviel’s main bass sits in the shop waiting for repair he has been playing on an electric bass along with rental acoustic basses. Both of these resources will be more difficult to come by when Aviel returns home for the Summer break. In order for Aviel to obtain these funds in time he will need your help. The concert will run from 4:30 to 5:30pm on Monday, April 3rd. It will feature Aviel as well as other musicians at FSU.
