Support the Reopening for UNeekCuts Barber shop
Hi, my name is Charmonque Deyana Mazyck. I am the owner of UNeekCuts barber shop; a black, minority woman owned business. I opened UNeekCuts Barber shop October 7, 2017 in Clinton, Maryland.
The plans for this barber shop location in Clinton, Maryland was to be a trusted destination whereby community residents can come to refresh their minds and bodies and replenish their energies while receiving exceptional barbering services from apprenticeships.
Currently, the economic climate in the United States is at its low. The meltdown of the COVID-19 Pandemic has greatly impacted UNeekCuts barber shop financially. We were forced to close for business for 3 months because of the COVID-19 Pandemic nationwide shutdown.
The property owners of the shopping center no longer wish to have a barber shop with our demographic. After 4 months of being open for business, I was issued a non renewal notice January 1, 2021; meaning that I can no longer continue business operations. After a hard-fought legal battle, there was little that could be done.
The closing of UNeekCuts barber shop, has created a financial hardship professionally and personally. The small business administration exhausted all Economic Injury Disaster Loan funds before UNeekCuts barber shop was awarded any funds. All donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
