Reoccurring bone tumor
Donation protected
Hello my name is Crystal, I am 29 years old mother of one and I’m dealing with a reoccurring bone tumor in my medial femoral condyle (inside left knee). It’s a tumor that eats at my bone and cartilage. In it doing so, it weakened my bone so much it collapsed and broke in and the thinned cartilage fell in as well. I had this same tumor five years ago, it caused three hair line fractures up my femur. It took me a year to learn to walk again, many of my friends and family knew the struggles I went through after this surgery and showed great support. The tumor then was 1.8cm, and grew back after a bone graft. It is now 4.2cm and very aggressive. Although not cancerous, the damage is the same no matter what. Same with treatment, which will be a partial knee replacement in August. (If the ban lifts in time). Currently I can not walk, I need crutches, I’m in pain all the time. I cannot work anymore or perform simple duties for myself like bathing and cooking. I tried to sell art for money but I cannot make anymore because of my leg. This also keeps me from taking care of my son which is a major issue for me. Whatever we can raise will help me with medical costs as well as bills. Thank you for taking the time to look, if you cannot donate please share. I’m eternally grateful for anything given, even a dollar. Bless you.
