Rentaro’s Top Surgery Fund!!!

Hey y’all! Over the last 8 years of my transition, I’ve been trying to make my way through all the hoops, ladders, and obstacles of insurance bullshit to get gender affirming top surgery. Multiple times I’ve needed to start this process over from the beginning, for one reason or another: Insurance giving me the runaround, losing coverage, only getting approved for a SINGLE mastectomy (???), flat out giving up because the process was so frustrating and taxing, it hurt to get my hopes up every time. So it is with great disbelief that I’m finally saying this: I have a surgery date, November 8th! To be honest, I’ll believe it when I see it! But this is the furthest I’ve ever gotten in this process, and you know what they say, 5th, 6th time’s the charm?

Anyways, you know the drill. Come November, I would greatly appreciate the community’s help with funds. I’ll be out of work for a few weeks to a month and your boy has bills to pay! This fund covers the co-pay for the surgery and the income I will be missing from being out of commission, with some wiggle room.
